After several decades of growth, it was in 2009 that the Pennel & Flipo group launched new product ranges for the high-tech marine and safety industries, with the opening of a factory in Mouscron, Belgium:
Orca was born.
The Pennel & Flipo group was born in 1924, when Jean Pennel & Joseph Flipo set up a textile rubber coating business in France.
After years of development in the textile and rubber industries, they expanded into more fabrics and materials - foams and plastics - distributing their products to a wide range of industries.
