2008: the start of a historical collaboration
In 2008, Zodiac made its first steps on the Vendée Globe by providing 60 Pro Open 650. This model, With a new console and a new bowlster, Then represented the second generation of the Pro Open range. Reliability and performance were there for this first collaboration, allowing skippers to evolve safely.
2012: Adaptation to changes in the race
Four years later, In 2012, IMOCAs (boats engaged in the Vendée Globe) are constantly evolving. Zodiac adapts and offers, in addition to Pro Open 650 always present (but with a new decoration of the float), larger and more efficient models: PRO 750, PRO 850 and N-ZO 700. This diversity allows navigators to choose the boat most suited to the weather conditions encountered during the race.
2024: a strong commitment to future edition
For the 2024 edition of the Vendée Globe, Zodiac provides 42 semi-rigids of different models: Open 6.5, Pro 7 and Pro 850. These boats, all from the professional range of Zodiac, are renowned for their robustness, their maneuverability and safety, and Will be presented in the Sables d'Olonne port for 1 month before the departure of the Vendée Globe from mid-October to mid-November 2024.
