Some time ago, we announced that High Field was sponsoring the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, and was offering a special limited series of their RIBs in the colors of the event.
Today, it's Zodiac's turn to make headlines on our blog.
As a historical partner of the Vendée Globe, Zodiac offers to reserve one of its 42 specially decorated boats for the 2024-2025 edition of this mythical race.
But before discovering these great deals available for sale, let's briefly go back over the history of this partnership...
2008: The beginning of a historic collaboration
In 2008, Zodiac took its first steps on the Vendée Globe by providing 60 Pro Open 650. This model, equipped with a new console and a new bolster, then represented the second generation of the Pro Open range. Reliability and performance were present for this first collaboration, allowing skippers to sail in complete safety.
2012: Adaptation to the evolution of the race
Four years later, in 2012, the IMOCA (boats involved in the Vendée Globe) continued to evolve. Zodiac adapted and offered, in addition to the Pro Open 650 still present (but with a new decoration of the float), larger and more efficient models: Pro 750, Pro 850, and N-ZO 700. This diversity allowed sailors to choose the boat best suited to the weather conditions encountered during the race.
2024: A strong commitment for the upcoming edition
For the 2024 edition of the Vendée Globe, Zodiac provides 42 RIBs of different models: OPEN 6.5, Pro 7, and Pro 850. These boats, all from Zodiac's professional range, are renowned for their robustness, maneuverability, and safety, andwill be presented in the port of Les Sables d'Olonne for 1 month before the start of the Vendée Globe from mid-October to mid-November 2024.
